Leah began her writing career while in high school, penning one-act plays. These dramas included A Life at Home, published in 1999.
In 2004, Leah graduated from the University of Georgia, where she earned majors in public relations and English, with a minor in theater.
Since that time, she has worked as a journalist and public relations professional with occasional forays into playing jazz trumpet, promoting NASCAR tracks, and non-profit fundraising.
A native of Chickamauga, Ga., Leah moved to Athens in 2000, and later spent a year in the small town of Hampton. She now lives outside of Nashville with her Siberian Husky, Waylon Whiskey.
